CIRTL Fellow fostering teaching & learning across the University
Impact of a CIRTL fellow at a glance:
The Story: As part of the MATLHE alumni, Dr Serena FitzGerald was invited to become a Centre for Integration of Research, Teaching & Learning (CIRTL) fellow for a 3-year period, which began in the 2018 academic year. This role involves the application of both a pedagogical and research focus to harness opportunities for students and lecturers who teach in higher education. Dr FitzGerald provides pedagogical input into accredited postgraduate teaching and learning programmes delivered in UCC. As part of this role she will support CIRTL research activities and the development of research applications aligned with CIRTL research priorities.
