id+ Project Supporting Co-Learning in the College of Medicine and Health The id+ Project promotes the fundamental rights of people with intellectual disabilities to attend third-level education and to progress to paid employment. As part of this project, students undertaking the Certificate in Social Citizenship undertook a module focusing on health and wellbeing with BSc Intellectual Disability Nursing students. Students worked together to prepare and deliver group presentations on health and wellbeing for people with intellectual disability. A diverse range of topics were covered including the impact of sport on mental health to services to support people with visual impairment. This was a wonderful opportunity for all students to learn together.
