International Students Social Trip 2023. 38 students from the BSc Nursing Studies and MSc (Non-EU) Nursing programmes, along with staff from the School, had a very successful trip to West Cork in May 2023 as part of their cultural experience of studying in Cork. Seven countries were represented: Nigeria, China, Ghana, Malawi, South Korea, India, and Ireland! First stop was Inchydoney beach where the students embraced the wind and the sun to walk the beach and marvel at the huge waves as well as taking the opportunity to dance a little to the beat of some great Nigerian music. Lunch was in Clonakilty where everyone had time to browse the shops and enjoy the lovely town. Then it was onto Castlefreke Woods where the bluebells awaited in the woodland walk. The final stop was Ownahincha for an ice cream and the last views of the Atlantic Ocean before heading back to Cork. A great day was had by all.
