About the Programme The MSc Midwifery is a part-time taught programme for registered midwives. There are 60 credits in Year 1 and 30 credits in Year 2. YEAR 1 : Students can choose from a range of modules subject to availability. YEAR 2 : Students undertake a research study and complete a dissertation. Applicants with a Higher Diploma in Midwifery can apply for direct access to Year 2 (30 credits). Entry Requirements Hold professional registration as a midwife with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be eligible for such registration. Course Duration 2 years. Some modules will be offered using Blended learning (part online). For these modules students will be invited to attend a session in August to introduce them to the blended learning component of relevant modules.
