The next event is an online learning collaborative, due to take place on December 4th and the team and wider consortium members are looking forward to it, with monthly virtual learning collaboratives scheduled until May 2021. Magnet4Europe held a virtual online launch event on Friday October 2nd, hosted by the research team in University College Cork, with over 200 participants. The event was opened by our Chief Nursing Officer, Rachel Kenna, along with project leads Professor Walter Sermeus and Professor Linda Aiken, Irish lead Professor Jonathan Drennan and Rebecca Graystone, the Vice President of the Magnet Recognition Program and Pathway to Excellence. Professors Aiken and Sermeus gave an overview of the Magnet4Europe project, delving into the history of how it originated. The keynote speakers, Michael Dowling (President and CEO) and Maureen White (Chief Nursing Officer) of the Northwell Health System gave a very engaging presentation on the value of the magnet principles and how their health system has been enhanced by Magnet. Recent Magnet awardees, Danny Van heusden (Magnet Program Director) and Johnny Van der Straeten (Chief Executive Officer), from Antwerp University Hospital, also presented on their journey to Magnet status. Practical sessions, on getting started and engaging your organisation, and the research overview, were also delivered by Mary Del Guidice and Matthew McHugh. Overall, the event was a success with positive feedback received from
