Dr Mohamad Saab presents during the UK Society for Behavioural Medicine webinar

The Team: Dr Mohamad M. Saab (Lead), Dr Caroline Kilty, Dr Brendan Noonan, Dr Serena FitzGerald, Maidy O’Brien, and Professor Josephine Hegarty (Co-Lead).

Mohamad presented his latest research titled “‘SWIFT’ Lung Cancer Detection in High-Risk Individuals: A Qualitative Study” during a two-hour Zoom webinar hosted by the UK Society for Behavioural Medicine which took place on July 24th 2020 and was attended by over 80 clinicians and health behaviourists from around world. This research was commissioned and funded by the National Cancer Control Programme, Health Service Executive in order to help develop a national intervention to raise lung cancer awareness and promote early help-seeking and detection among at-risk individuals living in underserved areas.

References: Three papers from this project are currently under review in peer reviewed journals.
