THEME 3 – MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING

This research cluster aims to conduct national and international collaborative research that enhances the mental health and wellbeing of individuals, communities and families. We are particularly interested in young people’s mental health, e-health, addiction nursing, early onset dementia, practice development, recovery, and co-production.

Our Specific Objectives are:

• To enhance knowledge and understanding of mental health and wellbeing

• To develop participatory methodologies in mental health and wellbeing research

• To generate and disseminate research that is relevant to clinical practice and communities

• To promote the mental health and wellbeing of young people.

The following stories provides an example of some of the work undertaken as part of this research theme in 2019.
