mySupport - Family Carers Decision Support Study Launches International Website

The aim of the mySupport study* is to adapt, implement and evaluate a comfort care booklet to support decision making for family carers in six countries: United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Netherlands, Canada, Czech Republic, and Italy. The educational intervention was designed to inform family carers about end-of-life care options for people living with advanced dementia. The All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC) was delighted that Professor Brazil officially launched the mySupport study website at the Palliative Care Research Network Symposium in Dublin, 14 November 2019. AIIHPC worked closely with Dr Irene Hartigan and Dr Nicola Cornally, School of Nursing & Midwifery, UCC (Partner Lead for the Knowledge Exchange and Communication Work Package) in collaboration with the wider research team to develop the website.
