October 2019: Professor John O’Halloran, Professor Hegarty and team from UCC visit with partners in India and China

UCC’s School of nursing and Midwifery is delighted to host students from India, China and beyond.

The School works closely with its partners abroad iStudy abroad Gaggin and Annie and Bei Zhang.

Whilst in India Professor Hegarty visited Manipal Academy of Higher Education; Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education & Research, Bangalore; Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore; Kerala University of Health Sciences. Medical College Thrissur; Amala College of Nursing Amala Nagar P.O., Thrissur and met with a number of students at English language centres. Similarly, whilst in China the UCC team were based in Beijing and visited with the Irish Embassy; China Education Expo; School of Nursing, Capital Medical University; Nursing College of Shanxi Medical University.
