Professor Eileen Savage (Professor of Nursing and Vice Dean of Graduate Studies (COM&H) delivered the conferring address to graduates of the College of Medicine and Health on 24th October 2019. Drawing on her experience as a coach, her address to graduates was on Thinking Big for Success and Imagine the Possibilities, now available on Watch Back UCC conferring at https://lnkd.in/ej3zdbR at 0.54.08 of the recording. The intent of her address was that graduates reflect on what success means for them with a future goal oriented focus on what they wished to accomplish in their personal and career goals. Being successful is determined by thinking big. She wished all graduate from the COM&H UCC a good and successful life, and very importantly lots of fun. Dr Ruth Lernihan is Director of Nursing at the South- Infirmary-Victoria University Hospital. Her doctorate study investigated patients’ expectations and experiences of service quality in ophthalmology services.
