Ms Clare Crowley awarded Fellowship by Examination to the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland Clare Crowley, Clinical Skills & Simulation Educator in the School of Nursing & Midwifery’s Clinical Skills & Simulation Resource Centre (CSSRC), was recently conferred with a Fellowship by Examination to the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, RCSI. This prestigious professional qualification is conferred following assessment of a detailedportfolio submissionandoral examination. TheFellowship is awardedtocandidateswhodemonstrateanexceptionalcontribution to nursing and/or midwifery and recognises outstanding work in various areas of their profession including Leadership, Research and Teaching & Learning. Clare is a Registered General Nurse and Registered Nurse Tutor who has been working in the CSSRC since 2017 and possesses a keen interest in simulation-based education, care of the deteriorating patient and patient safety. She hopes that this Fellowship will be of great benefit as she continues to develop knowledge and networks relating to healthcare education, simulation, nursing practice and professional matters.
