Undergraduate Success at the NUI Dr H.H. Stewart Medical Scholarships and Prizes 2022 The Dr Henry Hutchinson Stewart Literary and Medical Scholarships andPrizes areamong theoldest awards tobeoffered for competition by the NUI. First established in 1888 following a bequest from the estate of Dr Henry Hutchinson Stewart, these awards were initially made by the Royal University of Ireland until its dissolution in 1908 and were then continued by the NUI. More detail can be found online. UCC’s School of Nursing and Midwifery has had a remarkable record of success in the Dr H.H. Stewart Medical Scholarships and Prizes over many years. 2022 was no exception with Ms Joanne Walsh awarded third prize in the Dr H.H. Stewart Medical Scholarship in Midwifery. Congratulations to Joanne, we are very proud!

Quercus COMH Awards Scholars 2022 The Quercus Talented Students’ Programme is a scholarship programme that supports and promotes excellence in academia, sport, creative and performing arts, active citizenship & innovation/ entrepreneurship. This is now the eighth year that University College Cork is awarding Quercus Scholarships. Congratulations to all our nursing and midwifery students who received this award in 2022!
