Dr Moira O’ Donovan Conferred with a Degree for a Doctorate of Nursing

Dr. MoiraO’Donovanwas conferredwith a degree for aDoctorate of Nursing for a thesis entitled “Hope in Families when a Family Member Experiences Mental Distress” on the 7th January 2022. Dr. O’Donovan’s supervisors were: Dr. Angela Flynn and Dr. Joan McCarthy, UCC. Prof Agnes Higgins, Trinity College Dublin acted as advisor and the external examiner was Professor Brian Keogh, Trinity College Dublin. Moira’s husband Derry and daughter Aoife celebrated with Moira for this significant occasion. Shortly after, on February 2nd, Moira passed away. Sadly missed by her friends and colleagues of the School of Nursing and Midwifery. May she rest in peace.
