GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT AT THE SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY

At the School of Nursing and Midwifery staff work to build deep and sustainable global partnerships that integrate research, education, and clinical experiences, whilst preparing students to embrace the challenges and opportunities of our global community. In this section such global engagement is described in terms of student placement experiences abroad; international research collaborations; visiting scholars and international staff awards. Indeed in 2018 the Irish Omega Epsilon at-Large Chapter became Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing’s first Chapter in Ireland and seventh in the European region.
