Funded under Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership and based on primary research in 4 countries, we developed a micro-credential entitled: Trauma informed approaches to support staff working with children and adolescents exhibiting behaviours that challenge. The content for the micro-credential has been developed over two years among
international teams from UCC, Finland, Bulgaria and Germany, informed by Trauma Informed principles. This online course is targeted at health care professionals comprising nurses, doctors (including psychiatrists), occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists and health care assistants. Content was based on a Systematic Review (Kelly et al., 2022), and a series of focus groups in the partner countries, as well as expert knowledge on CAMHS and Trauma Informed Care within the SONM in UCC. It includes 4 online educational modules and a virtual reality (VR)- based module which will be delivered in the Assert Centre. The delivery of this micro credential will be evaluated using mixed methods research methodology. Quantitative data will be collected pretest-posttest via agreed and validated questionnaires and participants will be invited to participate in a focus group
