Editorial praises PhD student Yvonne Kelly’s publication in BMJ In July 2023, Yvonne Kelly (PhD nursing student) published a systematic review in BMJ Quality and Safety: Kelly Y, O’Rourke N, Flynn R, O’Connor L, Hegarty J (2023) - Factors that influence the implementation of (inter)nationally endorsed health and social care standards: a systematic review and meta-summary. BMJ Quality & Safety Published Online First: 08 June 2023. Yvonne’s review has been positively reviewed as part of BMJ editorial by Professor Jack Needleman Needleman J. MSc Healthcare Quality Improvement Graduate Publishes a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis in Prestigious Journal Under the supervision of Dr Mohamad Saab, MSc Healthcare Quality Improvement 2021-2022 Graduate Ms. Aisling Fahey published a complex systematic review and meta-analysis to determine the effect of high-flow nasal cannula versus non-invasive ventilation on the management of acute hypercapnic respiratory failure. This paper was published Open Access in The Clinical Respiratory Journal. Findings are of great relevance to clinicians working in critical care as well as critical care nursing students.
