About the Programme The aims of the programme are to encourage the personal and professional development of students so as to enable them to become knowledgeable and skilled practitioners in assessment and in the implementation of research based practice in neonatal nursing. Course Delivery A number of modules are delivered as blended learning with online content and attendance for workshops and tutorials. Neonatal modules are delivered in partnership with neonatal services in Cork University Maternity Hospital. Entry Requirements An active Nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland. Applicants must have a minimum six months experience in Neonatal Nursing.
Course duration: One full calendar year (September – August). A two day orientation programme will be held prior to the programme starting and compulsory attendance is required.
