About the Programme The post graduate diploma in oncology nursing provides a structured programme of study that encourages and supports the advancement of oncology nursing knowledge and practice to help nurses provide expert care to individuals living with a diagnosis of cancer and their families. Course Delivery The structure of the programme delivery is blended which incorporates a mixture of online and some face-to-face classroom sessions (10 days). This provides greater flexibility and allows students to work at their own pace. Entry Requirements Hold professional registration as a nurse with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be eligible for such registration. Have a minimum of 6 months experience in oncology practice and be currently working in an oncology setting.
Course duration: The course is run over a one year period from September to May. A 2-day orientation will take place the week prior to the starting date and attendance is compulsory.
