MASTERS IN NURSING STUDIES (TAUGHT) DIRECT ENTRY YEAR 2 About the Programme The MSc Nursing Studies (Year 2) aims to build on existing knowledge and skills from postgraduate diploma level education to enhance professional practice and career opportunities. Students take 30 credits in Year 2. YEAR 2: MH6014 Advanced Research Methods for Healthcare Professionals (10 credits) NU6073 Dissertation (20 credits). Entry Requirements Direct entry to Year 2 is possible for applicants who have completed a Higher Diploma/Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery or Public Health Nursing in the previous 5 academic years from the date of successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma Examinations, subject to the programme being available.
